Release Notes: The new modules BseEvaluator and DavBassFilter were added. Support was added for author and licensing information for plugins. MIDI file import capability was started. A new undo-able parasite mechanism is used for BSE files and C++ bindings. The default value serialization in BSE files and IDL Compiler bugs were fixed. The GUI and menu codes were overhauled. Lots of accessibility and i18n fixes and updates were made.

Release Notes: Although this release adds no new features, it contains many internal improvements and infrastructure updates. The Rapicorn library (13.0.0) is now used, and is required to build Beast. Beast now makes use of C++11 and STL threads. Improved performance is achieved through EventFD, Spinlocks, lambdas, etc. This release also contains many code cleanups, documentation updates, and licensing cleanups.
Release Notes: This is largely a bugfix release that improves stability and interoperation with system libraries.
Release Notes: The project was renamed to Better Audio System / Better Sound Engine. Performance improvements and fixes were made for the test suite. Performance for playback was improved. XRUNs were fixed in the ALSA driver on 64-bit systems. Translation updates were made.

This release also includes various bug fixes, improvements, and better test coverage. Support was added for recent compilers (gcc-4.4), automake-1.10, and guile-1.8. Some plugins were relicensed under LGPL. The error bell can now be muted in the beast preferences dialog. Many translations have been updated. Support was added for loading 32bit and 24bit PCM-format WAV files.
Release Notes: This release fixes an important SUID vulnerability, and introduces new features like different musical tunings. It also has new and extended modules (BseQuantizer) and a lot of stability and documentation fixes.
