BBGallery is a small Perl script generating a number of HTML files from JPEG images that make up a image gallery to browse with any HTML browser. It uses The Gimp and Gimp-Perl to create thumbnails and to scale the images. It features thumbnail creation (size can be configured), scaling images to a configurable size (optional), links to full size image, meta-galleries, ability to assign labels or text to images/galleries using simple text files, easy installation and use, and an automatic slideshow.

Release Notes: All HTML pages are now created from templates using the HTML::Template module from CPAN (no more HTML inside the script). This enables easy customization of the generated galleries. HTML documentation was also added, including a template manual.
Release Notes: This release includes the ability to save and load cmdline settings (and more) in the .bbgallery file in the image directory, merges in patches to correctly encode 'illegal' characters, and substitutes spaces for underlines in image captions and title, enabling tags for Mozilla's Site Navigation Bar. There is a new --thumb-only option and new short descriptions, improved short descriptions to handle tags (by removing them), and an optional "header.txt" file that gets included on top of every file (perfect for CSS styles). There are also many bugfixes.
Release Notes: ImageMagick support (scaling images can be performed using either the GIMP or the ImageMagick tools convert and identify).
