Release Notes: Many new completion functions have been added, and many existing ones have been improved or optimised. In addition, innumerable bugs have been fixed, including important bash 3.1 compatibility issues. This release is believed to be bash 3.1 compliant.

Release Notes: The disabling of glob expansion in _filedir() has itself been disabled, as this triggered a bug in bash, which had the annoying effect of temporarily disabling alias expansion. mc completion has been greatly extended. A bug in lilo completion has been fixed. Improvements have been made to iwconfig completion. tcpdump and dhclient completion have been fixed to use the correct interfaces function. MPlayer options should now use dashes, not underscores.

Release Notes: The patterns for tarball matching were fixed. Evince completion for .pdf files was added. More OpenOffice 2 completions were added. Completion for xine front-ends and kplayer/MPlayer was added.

Release Notes: New completion has been added for rpm2cpio, ntpdate, getent, id, and cpio. Mutt completion now also works for muttng. A bug was fixed in the _filedir() function, so that literal filenames that appear to be glob patterns are not treated as such. scp completion was fixed for the case where a filename contains shell metacharacters. Broken sudo completion was fixed. More extensions for MPlayer were added. The new open document formats of OpenOffice 2.0 are now supported. Many other minor fixes and enhancements were made.

Release Notes: Completion now works for chown/chgrp when group names contain spaces. Improvements were made to wireless tools completion. The location of openssl.cnf is now somewhat more flexible for OpenSSL completion.

Release Notes: This release features a complete rewrite of openssl(1) completion. Completion was implemented for pkg-config, ps2pdf, and mkinitrd. make completion was enhanced with alternate Makefile paths. mount completion now functions better under Cygwin. Numerous wireless tools improvements were made and cvs(1) completion fixes were applied. Numerous other small improvements were also made.

Release Notes: This version fixes scp completion for file names, both local and remote, that contain shell metacharacters. gzip has been fixed for files whose names contain spaces. apt-cache improvements have been made. Targets in included Makefiles are now processed during make completion. New dhclient, lvm, and bittorrent (contrib) completions have been added. CVS completion has been fixed to allow better handling of files and directories whose names contain whitespace. Many other minor fixes have been made.

Release Notes: pgrep and pidof completion has been added. Service completion now works on xinetd services. Some spurious warnings in CVS completion have been removed. PID completion on AIX and Solaris has been fixed. aptitude completion has been updated. getent is now used for UID and GID completion when available. A '/' is now added to directories completed from $CDPATH. Minor fixes to other completion functions have been made.

Release Notes: Info completion was added. chkconfig underwent factorization and had other improvements. xmms now has its own completion function. Filenames are now used by default for cdrecord completion, and aspell completion was added. SuSE support for ifup/down and ifstatus, if present, was added. dpkg -P is now recognized and completed. Fixes were made to mutt completion, and builtin completions on builtins were implemented.

Release Notes: Additions were made to the extensions on which mplayer can complete. CUPS cancel(1) completion has been added. A minor bug in mkisofs completion has been fixed. dpkg completion was not returning 'essential' packages. CVS completion now handles the various sub-command abbreviations. man and cc completion have been fixed for Cygwin. Some new completions were added to the contrib directory. Various minor bugs were fixed.
