    Release Notes: This release re-adds the option --volume-size and fixes setting CD/DVD/BD volume size. It does not print passwords that may be included in the FTP specifier when creating/list/restore entries. barcontrol asks for the crypt password when restoring single archive entries. The URI parser will clear the port number if not set. A bug in ftplib has been fixed: listing a directory did not close the temporary file.

      Release Notes: Sub-directories are now created when storing to a file. Problems with creating parent directories, a possible infinite loop when executing external commands, the log-post-command, permissions for job files, the string parser, a null pointer exception in BARControl, and CD/DVD/BD write command were fixed. FTP transmission was improved. Usability of BARControl was improved, and it now asks for the crypt password. The stdout/stderr of external commands is now output in verbose mode. BARControl now displays warnings when the selection of part size/medium size/error correction codes may not fit.

        Release Notes: The jobs directory is created if it does not exist. File name editor drag and drop was fixed for barcontrol. barcontrol now asks for a password on restore. Reading file names that contain "\" or LF/CR was fixed. Discarding of the first character for archive target cd: or bd: was fixed for barcontrol. Error handling when calling an external tool for CD/DVD/BD was fixed. The documentation was improved: archive file name macros were added, more entries were added to the FAQ, and small fixes were made.

          Release Notes: A wrong storage name in a database was fixed. In barcontrol, the start/abort button was fixed to be enabled or disabled for incremental, differential, and dry-run jobs. In barcontrol, the tab restore storage filter was fixed. Clean-up was done.

            Release Notes: The content of directories and sub-directories is no longer stored when a .nobackup or .NOBACKUP file exists. Hard links are now supported, along with new chunk types, HLN0, HENT, HNAM, and HDAT. A --dry-runthat performs all operations but does not compress, encrypt and store files, write incremental data lists, or write on CD/DVD/BD devices was added. A --compress-exclude option was added to disable compression for files, images, and hard links that match the specified pattern. A --differential option was added for differential storage. It is like --incremental, but incremental data is not updated.

                Release Notes: An exception when running barcontrol under Windows and connecting to a Linux server was fixed. In barcontrol, the columns for size, modified, state in restore tab, and storage list were made resizable. Wrong bar binary and config paths were fixed in the SuSE, Redhat, Mandrake, and Fedora start scripts.

                    Release Notes: Fixes were made for Mac OS X regarding a SWT start thread problem, the ability to use "java" without any path, and out-dated JAR archives. Missing documentation images were added to the distribution. Creation of barcontrol/barcontrol*.jar was fixed. An error message when an archive file already exists was fixed.

                      Release Notes: The archive file name for CD/DVD/BD and parsing of storage specification for CD/DVD/BD were fixed. In barcontrol, sorting of columns was fixed, the broken context menu was fixed, sorting of columns in the jobs tab file/device tree was fixed, and calculating directory size was fixed.
