All releases of autotools-idl

Release Notes: A feature to customize the names of the generated source files was added.

Release Notes: A feature to choose the allowed ORBs per package (in configure.ac) was added. When the user explicitly enables a few ORBs, then they are tried in the order preferred by the developer (if there is a list of developer-preferred ORBs).

Release Notes: A few minor bugs were fixed. All the scripts were refactored so that they no longer use shell functions. (This might improve portability a bit.) This version was merged with automake 1.10.1.

Release Notes: This is the first non-beta release. Support for TAO 1.6 has been added. Some rules about compatibility between versions have been established.

Release Notes: Non-default linking for Orbix was fixed (e.g. 64-bit under Linux or Solaris). Detection of OpenSSL was fixed for certain systems in entirely static linking mode.

Release Notes: Support for omniORB 4.1 has been added.

Release Notes: This version adds a few features and bugfixes related to VisiBroker 7.0. A bug in example5 related to FreeBSD/OpenBSD make has been fixed.

Release Notes: automake-idl has been revamped in order to work with parallel buidls (make -jN, N>1). As a result, example5 as previously given won't work anymore even for non-parallel builds. Check the documentation on the Web site for more information.

Release Notes: A few features have been added, such as the ability to choose which ORBs to install support for, and the ability to link statically only against the ORB libraries. A few bugs have been fixed.

Release Notes: Tuxedo and Orbix support was added and various small fixes were made.
