The Simple Authenticating Gateway for Linux allows administrators to control access between different networks through user authentication. It allows ipchains or iptables firewalls to provide access control through user authentication.

Release Notes: An untested NAT mode was added for use with ipchains. The program now looks into /sbin and /usr/sbin to find ipchains or iptables automatically. The installation directory of exrsh (Extremely Restricted Shell) was changed from /usr/local/sbin to /usr/local/bin. The makefile was revised.
