Authentic is a Liberty-enabled identity provider aiming to address a broad range of needs, from simple to complex setups. Its Liberty compliance relies on Lasso, a free software implementation of the Liberty Alliance specifications. It is a quixote application and is commonly run inside the Apache Web server.

      Release Notes: Numerous changes were made, including many LDAP improvements. identity proxying behavior was extensively debugged and fixed. Robustness was improved in many places. A new and better startup and control script was added. The admin interface layout was updated.

        Release Notes: Numerous changes were made. Basic SAML 2.0 support was implemented. Many ID-FF and ID-WSF corner cases were fixed, the identity store system was modularised, support for PostgreSQL was added, and customising options were improved.

          Release Notes: Numerous changes were made. The most notable features are the option to use identities from an existing LDAP directory, multiple-site support (through Apache virtual hosts), the possibility to act as a Liberty ID-FF 1.2 proxy, basic ID-WSF support (if support is compiled in Lasso), many options for customization, and an administrator guide.

            Release Notes: The recommended configuration was changed to SCGI. Metadata Liberty conformance was fixed. The program was internationalized and localized for English and French.
