Authen::Smb allows you to authenticate against NT domain controllers from a UNIX environment. It has been tested under Linux and Solaris, but will run wherever smbval (included in the distribution) compiles.

    Release Notes: Previous versions of Authen::Smb contained exploitable buffer overflows due to problems in the third-party C library upon which Authen::Smb is based. All users should upgrade immediately.

      Release Notes: Bug fixes, e.g. resolves a problem that was causing segfaults on some Linux and Solaris platforms. This is a recommended upgrade.

        Release Notes: 0.6 is finally ready for primetime. It compiles now under Linux and Solaris without any tweaking.
