Audiality
Audiality is a highly scalable and portable audio engine and synthesizer. MIDI files are used in combination with scripting and modular synthesis, to minimize file sizes and maximize flexibility. Audiality can be used as a music and sound effects player in multimedia productions, or as a realtime MIDI synthesizer.

Release Notes: Audiality was born inside the game Kobo Deluxe (by the same author), and has now forked into a separate project. Changes from the version found in Kobo Deluxe 0.4pre8 and the upcoming 0.4.0 include the ability to build Audiality as a shared library, some improvements to the scripting engine, the addition of instrument mapping for MIDI files, and some minor bugfixes.
