Avoid The Roid

Avoid The Roid is a game similar to asteroids. It was originally based on Maelstrom for Linux. It has both single and multiplayer modes and runs on Linux, Windows 2000/XP, and possibly other platforms.

Release Notes: Most sound events have been moved to the server. Various bugfixes have been added for wraparound. Vortex and elastic collisions have been added. The server code has been changed to be more object oriented.

I tried the game under Redhat 6.2 and works quite

well. I think I will give a look to the sources

to understand how to use OpenGL ...
