Release Notes: Security fixes were made for buffer overflows. Compilation errors with GCC 3.4 were fixed. ANTIC timing was fixd for the Timeslip game. The fileselector UI would crash if there were no files, and has been fixed. The Amiga port was updated.


Release Notes: The R: device can now be hooked to a real serial port (no runtime configuration yet). There are various ANTIC and POKEY fixes for perfect software compatibility. Disk and cartridge info is saved in the state files. Cassette handling is greatly improved. More cartridges are supported (40). Some rare buffer overflows have been fixed.


Release Notes: The configure script was rewritten and much improved. New cartridge types are supported, bringing the total number of supported types to 38. Loading and saving of disk sets (D1-D8) is possible in the UI. The Atari850 serial port emulation was added. The m68k assembler for emulation of the CPU was updated and improved. XF551 HighSpeed transfer emulation was added.


Release Notes: Support for mid-scanline changes to color registers, graphics mode, and player/missile positions and shapes (a trick used in a number of games and demos to mix modes in an 'impossible' way, and double the number of player/missiles per scanline), 16-bit quality sound support, a new ability to switch POKEY sound chip emulation routine and mono/stereo support on the fly, updates to CPU monitor, and lots of bugfixes.


Release Notes: There are documentation fixes, read/write / read-only toggling of mounted disk images, a patch to build for OS/2 with X11, more supported cartridge types, updated POKEY emulation for better sound quality, updated ANTIC emulation to support mixing mode E and GTIA mode 9, Amiga/ST mouse right button click emulation, and MultiJoy4 interface (4 joysticks) emulation.


Release Notes: Support for 576 and 1088KB RAM (selection available in the UI), separate Antic access to extended memory for 130 XE and 320 Compy Shop, 256K and 512K XEGS carts, an SDL version that cleans up after unsuccessful initialization, supports "-nosound" and "-dsprate", and continues to run even if sound initialization failed, and better functionality for the commandline options "-help" and "-v" ("-version") in most supported ports.


Release Notes: This release features changes to the command-line options, support for emulating 16K models, LPTjoy joystick support (Linux), man page updates, high-speed disk I/O emulation, and an implementation of a "Dirty" screen update scheme. 2nd joystick button support for the Atari 5200 was fixed, M68K port updates and fixes were made, and emulation for the Trak-Ball and light gun was added. Many miscellaneous code cleanups and bugfixes were also made.
