Release Notes: A task's progress can now be changed. 24 hour calendars can be created with a new Aspose.Tasks.Calendar.Make24HourCalendar() API. Task and Resource time phased data can be read from MS Project 2003/2007/2010 MPP files, and several new MS Project 2010-specific fields are now supported. The Extended Attribute SecondaryGuid field is now read from MPP files. Conversion of the MPP Timephased Data format to the old XML-based Timephased Data was implemented.
Release Notes: This month’s release has further enhanced the capabilities of Aspose.Tasks for recalculating project’s dependent data automatically while the project is being created/modified. The Project class of the API now exposes a control flag CalculateAfterEdit that decides the recalculation of a project's dependent data as detailed in the online article. It also fixes a number of bugs related to MPP read/write functionality such as setting percent complete/percent work complete, reading assignment delay, reading baseline timephased data from MPP, reading/writing Autolink field in 2003-2013 MPP, and some others.
Release Notes: Exporting of project tasks, resources, and assignments to CSV, TXT, XLS, and XLSX was implemented. Saving project data as a Microsoft Project Template (MPT) is also supported. It is now possible to create a project from scratch with default properties. This lets developers avoid initializing all data properties as in the case of MSP.
Release Notes: This release provides support for Reporting services similar to Microsoft Project. This works for any type of Microsoft Project file (MPP/XML) and includes support for reports types like project overview, resource sot overview, cost overview, work overview, critical tasks, Milestones, late tasks, resource overview, cost overruns, upcoming tasks, task cost overview, over-allocated resources, slipping tasks, a best practice analyzer, Burn down, and Cash Flow. This release also includes some minor bugfixes and internal improvements.
Release Notes: You can now write metadata to MPP files. This includes calendar, task, tasklink, resource, and resource assignment metadata. A number of bugs related to MPP files were fixed, including display of tasks as summary tasks when MPP files were re-saved using Aspose.Tasks, writing baseline work and costs for Microsoft Project 2013 MPP files, incorrect Gantt chart view, and some Chinese language issues for task notes.
Release Notes: Projects can now be exported to XAML format with the facility to set various rendering options such as legends on output pages, timescale options, and individual Presentation formats. A project can now be printed to a default or custom printer with different print options and printer settings. An easy method for deep cloning a source project to a target project via a single API call was provided.
