Aspose.Tasks

Aspose.Tasks is a non-graphical .NET Project management component which enables .NET applications to read, write, and manage Project documents without utilizing Microsoft Project. With Aspose.Tasks, you can read and change tasks, recurring tasks, resources, resource assignments, relations, and calendars. Aspose.Tasks works well with both WinForm and WebForm applications.

    Release Notes: Aspose.Tasks now supports reading and writing MSP 2013 in both MPP and XML formats. This month’s release has also fixed a number of bugs related to Microsoft Project 2003 and 2010 MPP formats, such as calendar data updating, rendering contents of a cell without truncation, and some regression issues. Extended attribute values are present in both extended attributes and outline codes in Aspose xml files.

      Release Notes: Aspose.Tasks now supports writing updated data back to 2013 MPP files. This includes writing updated Calendar data, task data, task link data, resource data, resource assignment data, outline codes, and extended attributes back to 2013 MPP files. This month’s release also includes a new feature of rendering Project data to pre-defined page sizes. It includes Ao, A1, A2, A3, A4, Ledger, and Letter size pages. This release also includes some enhancements, including the ability to increase row heights for auto-adjusting a cell’s contents and reading fixed cost values from the 2010 MPP format.

      Release Notes: Rendering of individual views of a project to various output formats is now supported. Resource Usage View, Resource Sheet View, and Task Usage View can now be rendered. Retrieval of the number of pages for different views with various timescale settings was enhanced. Bugs related to certain features of MPP files such as Resource Baseline, WBS, Extended Attributes, and updating were fixed.

      Release Notes: Support for reading Microsoft Project 2013 MPP formats was added. General project properties, calendar information, task and task link data, resource and resource assignment data, and outline codes and extended task attributes data can be read. A new feature lets you read a task’s budget work and cost values from Microsoft Project 2007/2010 MPP files. It is now possible to get the total number of pages for an MPP file, based on different TimeScale options.

      Release Notes: This month’s release includes a number of bugfixes along with improved calculations of earned values for Task, Resource and Assignment objects. The earned values BCWS, BCWP, ACWP, and CV are calculated more precisely when project data is read. This version also includes some important bugfixes related to MPP resource assignments timephased data, task data issues, assignment baselines resource cost per use for 2003 MPP files, and conversion from MPP to PDF.
