Version 3.1.0 of Aspose.Pdf for Java
Release Notes: This release has enhanced support for PCL (Printer Control Language) files conversion to PDF format and greatly improves conversion of raster images, including PNG and BMP, to PDF. It introduces a new method, setVerticalAlignment(), to the ImageInfo class to vertically align an image object inside a PDF document. It fixes some issues so that Aspose.Pdf is more stable during XML files to PDF conversion. Lines of UnderLined text do no have the same color as the text object, and Images with an Alpha channel are also fixed in this release.

Release Notes: This is the first autoported version of Aspose.Pdf for Java. The authors' Java product line is now as robust in terms of features as its sibling .NET product line. This enables customers to use a single component to create and manipulate existing PDF files. With this release, Aspose.Pdf for Java has become capable of creating PDF files from scratch and now offers the ability to manipulate existing PDF documents. This release also introduces a new Document Object Model (DOM).
Release Notes: This release provides a better and enhanced XML to PDF conversion feature. The image transformation engine has been rewritten and is now based on ImageIO. The main benefits of the new engine are better support for different image formats and optimized image operations. Issues related to image to PDF conversion, XML transformation to PDF format, EndNote appearance in resultant files, PNG appearance in Adobe Reader when converted to PDF format, and many other issues were resolved.
Release Notes: TrueType fonts are now supported during PDF generation. The HTML to PDF conversion feature was greatly improved with support for some new style tags. The XML to PDF conversion feature was also improved significantly. Support for adding buffered images to PDF documents was provided. Internal code optimizations were made to minimize the creation of temporary objects. A new overloaded method was introduced in the ImageInfo class.

PCL (Printer Command Language) is a Hewlett-Packard printer language developed to access standard printer features. With this latest version of Aspose.Pdf, you can convert these files into PDF format. Converting medium and large XML files to PDF is now 5-10 times faster, and placement of Graphs after Excel2PDF is corrected with enhanced BMP file to PDF conversion. Recent bugfixes are also included in this release.
