Release Notes: This release added support for reading Journal items from Outlook PST files. A client for Time Protocol (RFC 868) was also introduced. A Create MapiJournal class was added. Optional attendees can now be added to meeting requests. MailMessage i now marked as serializable. Problems with embedded images appearing as attachments in messages were resolved. There were many other new features and fixes.

The SmtpClient class now has the ability to read the authentication information from a config file. Exporting email messages from Thunderbirdís mail storage to EML or MSG format was also added. vCard and ICS file formats are also supported in this release.
