Release Notes: Aspose.Metafiles for Java has now been completely merged into Aspose.Imaging for Java API with this release. Aspose now offers a richer library to meet all imaging requirements in the shape of Aspose.Imaging for Java. Existing users of Aspose.Metafiles can go through the Porting Guide to know what has been changed & what should they do to integrate this Java Imaging API in their existing apps. The authors tried their best to keep everything intact as it was originally in the Aspose.Metafiles API, but had to standardize the loading and saving mechanisms according to the object model of Aspose.Imaging API.
Release Notes: This release introduces the metafile conversion feature. It also supports converting metafiles to other image formats. It can extract TIFF frames from a multi-page TIFF image to any other supported image format. This release also includes enhancements and fixes of the issues reported in earlier version. For example, PNG conversion to other image format and resize method overloads have been fixed, and there are other enhancements.
Release Notes: This month’s release provides extensive support for TIFF image format. You can now load TIFF images and export any image to TIFF format. You can also concatenate several images into one multi-page TIFF, as well as save each frame/page of a multi-page TIFF to a separate image of any supported format. You can export a TIFF image with compression algorithms (such as CCITT4 and CCITT3). PSD layer manipulation, rotating, and flipping an image are a few new features. You can also export any image to GIF with LZW compression. Both load and export processes are fast enough to suit your performance needs.
