Release Notes: The ability to add a color category to an Outlook MESSAGE file was added. The API’s FollowUpManager class provides methods that add, remove, and list the color categories associated with a MSG file. A number of bugs related to MSG conversion for various formats such as EML, MHTML, and TIFF were fixed along with bugs with reading Outlook appointments and PST operations.
Release Notes: This release supports OST to PST conversion. It only takes a line of code to save the loaded OST file as PST and vice-versa. This release also enhances the capability of PST operations so users can now change a folder’s Container class after creating it. This enables users to view all the contents of the folder which contains items of different types (messages, appointments, etc.) in Outlook by changing the folder’s container class to IPF.NOTE. It also includes a number of bugfixes related to message encoding, MSG conversion to MHTML, and a MapiCalendar issue while having attachments.
Release Notes: PST and MSG operations were improved. There were fixes for message encoding during conversion, formatting of message headers, extracting appointments from PSTs, disturbed message body characters, optional attendees not being recognized by the Appointment class, extracting appointments from PSTs, and issues with missing organizers.
Release Notes: Microsoft Outlook offers the ability to create contact distribution lists in a PST. This feature was lagging in the Aspose.Email API until this month’s release; creating and reading distribution lists in PST is now supported. Users can access contact distribution lists from the contacts folder with a check on the message class, which should be IPM.DistList. This release also includes a number of bugfixes related to message conversion to various formats, retrieving and converting messages from a PST file, and encoding issues with different email messages.
Release Notes: This release supports adding contacts, notes, tasks, calendar, and journal items to PST files in the same way as messages are added to PST. It fixes a number of bugs reported by customers and users, issues related to email conversion to other formats such as MHTML, saving images from a VCard, processing ICS files, creating PSTs with a large number of email messages, saving attachments from a message using stream, and some exceptions.
