Release Notes: This release added support for rendering sparklines and for displaying RTL (right-to-left) languages in generated PDF files (Excel to PDF conversion). PDF rendering performance was enhanced by providing a PdfSaveOptions.CheckFontCompatibility option. The conditional formatting feature is also improved. Many issues with reading, writing, and converting spreadsheets (XLS, XLSX etc.), rendering or converting shapes, and exporting to PDF have been resolved. Issues pertaining to charts and the formula calculation engine have also been corrected.

Issues with manipulating charts and shapes were fixed. Release Notes: This release adds a feature which lets you retrieve external data source details. Sometimes, you may want to retrieve details from external data sources, for example, if you want to read the SQL connection data. You can also limit the number of pages generated in Excel-to-PDF conversion. You can print a range of pages to the output PDF file using this new feature and can set a limit on how many pages are generated when converting a MS Excel spreadsheet to PDF file format. This release improves the chart-to-image and sheet-to-image modules and adds a number of enhancements.
Release Notes: The dependency on the dom4j library has been removed and was replaced with a custom XML parser. A “Cannot find black listed licenses resource” exception was fixed. The OSGi environment is now supported without any problems. Exceptions when reading/writing Excel files and rendering Excel spreadsheets to image files and PDF format were resolved.

You may also specify a first page header and footer image for worksheet. There were a number of complaints regarding the image quality in chart-to-image conversion, and this release improves the quality to a certain extent.
