Release Notes: This new release includes support for saving barcode images in EMF format (Vector graphics). Release Notes: This release reworks the BarCode project and supports recognition in WPF targeted assemblies. Previously, there was no way to read the codes in WPF projects. This release also ships a separate Aspose.BarCode library for .NET Compact Framework 3.5. By merging recognition and generation modules, there is now a single library for both APIs. Developers don’t need to apply a license for each module.
Release Notes: The .NET Compact Framework version has been improved with appropriate error messages and enhanced reliability. The performance of DataMatrix with large pictures has been improved. Key factors of this improvement are "Diagonal check" and "Strict angle check". It is now possible to generate multiple barcodes in a single image. The decoding accuracy rate of DataMatrix and Code128 symbologies from images and PDF files is now noticeably better.

The Code16K symbology is now supported. Many significant enhancements have been made to improve the overall quality of RM4SCC, PatchCode, Pdf417, DataMatrix, QR, and Pharmacode symbologies. Quality and performance of recognizing Patch Code and InterLeaved2of5 barcodes from TIFF images was improved. The quality of PDF417 and QR code recognition from JPG images was improved.

This release also includes a number of new features and enhancements along with bugfixes. Some important enhancement are Pdf417 barcode recognition, recognition of barcode on dark background, recognition of EAN13 from TIFF, recognition of DataMatrix, recognition of PDF417 codes from PNG, recognition of QR code from JPEG images, and more. In order to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the image processing part, it adds complex background and invert image techniques.
