Aspose.Slides for Java is a Java component for manipulating PowerPoint presentations. It doesn't require PowerPoint and supports export to PDF, embedding and linking of audio and video frames, slide cloning, thumbnail generation, and presentation features, the ability to extract text from a presentation, and more.

Release Notes: Linked OLE frames are now implemented. Performance of rendering to PDF and thumbnail generation was improved. Issues with presentation cloning, chart labels overlapping, incorrect text wrapping, right to left text inside generated thumbnails, spaces lost when saving presentations, arrow rendering, presentation corruption problems, and many other issues have also been addressed.


Release Notes: This release provides support for setting default fonts for rendering presentation to PDF or TIFF. FontsLoader implementation support has been added, which allows you to load the fonts used for rendering from a specified location without installing them. The text to HTML support has also been enhanced in this release. Certain exceptions support has been included in this new release, including support for an exception when the wrong locale is selected. Many presentation rendering issues have also been rectified, especially to do with generating PDFs or slide thumbnails. This release also adds support for TIFF compression.


Release Notes: Features like printing presentations, chart rendering, SmartArt rendering, PPT/ODP to PPTX conversion, Export of presentations to HTML, SmartArt rendering, and processing of OOXML presentations are included in this release. You can migrate code written using older versions of the Java API by observing the differences mentioned in How to Migrate to Aspose.Slides for Java 3.0.0. This version is no longer dependent on JAI or other libraries for rendering presentations.

Release Notes: This release is compliant with JDK 1.5 and adds support for picture bullets in PPTX presentations. However, this is mainly a maintenance release which fixes a number of issues with presentation access, table rendering, and missing border lines related to saved and cloned presentations. The issue with table borders failing to render in saved or cloned presentations has also been resolved. This release includes many improved features.
