ASDF (A Simple DVD Frontend for MPlayer) is intended to make watching DVDs with MPlayer easier. It's written in Perl using the Qt toolkit. It provides an easy way to select the track you want to watch, as well as audio and subtitle languages and deinterlacing. It also provides a way to hide the short "empty" tracks that litter many DVDs.

Release Notes: This release includes some of the biggest improvements so far, probably the most exciting of these being an installer. There are tooltips for some of the less intuitive options. The subtitle controls are now greyed out when no subtitles are available.
Release Notes: This release provides some new features as well as a new Web site and a screenshot. There has also been a bit of cleanup internally, and a couple of minor bugs have been fixed. If the longest track is longer than 65 minutes, it will now be selected by default, even if it's not the first track in the list. Chapters now have their length displayed. Numbers are now padded to make them line up better.
