Release Notes: "arxadd" is now supposed to only accept hexadecimal values where type, sub-type, and version information are expected.

Release Notes: The tools are now supposed to only support hexadecimal values on the command line wherever a unique item identifier is expected.

Release Notes: pkg-config support was added. This allows easy checking of the installed version in case one depends on a feature that is only available in a specific version. Support for the --add parameter of arxadd was improved: now you can specify the parent item by path and may omit the relation name in case "child" is used. The path directive allows inlined relation names, of course.

Release Notes: arxadd was enhanced so that the newly added item can be inserted into various relations of multiple other items by arxadd. This removes the necessity to reload and rewrite the whole library with another arxmod call. The --version parameter on all tools now writes the version only for easy checking.

Release Notes: This release adds some important features like path resolution and getting information about items and relations. It also improves some other features like the parsing of numeric values on the command line. However, the most important change is that three tools have been removed. arxdump is replaced by an improved arxget, arxstructure has been integrated into arxmod, and arxarchive has been split between the two. This means that the tool suite is now nearly minimal and the interface will not be reduced for some time now.
