Supports Compaq ida and cciss controlers
Just as an FYI, this tool supports the ida and cciss controlers that are often included in Compaq servers. This is just the tool I was looking for. It took me a while to find it because I was searching for cciss or compaq or the like to find some thing that could tell me if I had a drive go back in my compaq servers. HP has software to monitor the hardware but I think it's only in rpm format & might require some snmp stuff. I am building some Linux compaq servers from scratch and I needed something small (like this program) that I could run to tell me that my mirror/array was in good order.
