Release Notes: All components have been updated to current versions, such as KDE 3.5.7, OpenOffice.org 2.2.1, amarok 1.4.7, Linux kernel 2.6.22.3, glibc 2.6.1, and gcc 4.2.1. Wine has been updated and integration of Wine into the system has been improved. Many additional applications and games have been added to the apt repository.


Release Notes: All components have been updated (including KDE 3.5.7, OpenOffice.org 2.2.1, glibc 2.6). Everything has been rebuilt with gcc 4.2. Hardware detection has been improved. Many packages have been added.

Release Notes: KDE has been updated to 3.5-pre [a 2005.2 final release is planned for the same time as KDE 3.5's release], numerous bugs have been fixed, the size has been trimmed, and a D compiler has been added to the development CD.


Release Notes: {re-Cardbus PCMCIA cards are working again. NFS server support has been fixed. Various bugs in coldplug's VGA card detection code have been fixed. Real USB printer hotplugging has been added (plug in a USB printer and it will "just work" and show up in the print dialog. There is no need to configure it anymore). There is a GUI for handling unsupported PCI cards, easing the installation of new drivers and, in the case of wireless network cards, installation of Windows drivers through ndiswrapper emulation has been added.


Release Notes: Fully open source support for 3D acceleration on ATI Radeon 9600/9700/9800 based graphics chips has been added, an expert mode allowing custom partition layouts has been added to the installer, Krita is the new default image editor, and many packages have been updated (most notably KDE 3.4.2 and OpenOffice.org 2.0-m122).
