Release Notes: A lot of compilation problems have been fixed and the code has been cleaned. Some (Free)BSD-specific bugs have been fixed. No new features have been added. Users are advised to upgrade to this release.

Release Notes: Aprecv can now read many new protocols: Linux ATM CLIP, ATM RFC1483 PDU, BGP, PPP CCP, FDDI, GREv1, IGMPv0, IGMPv1, IPv6 Routing Header, IPv6 Hop-by-Hop Header, IPv7 (RFC 1475), MPLS, CBT, VRRP, EIGRP, TokenRing, PPP IPV6CP, PPP LQR, IRTP, SLIP, and MOPv3 DECNET dump/load protocol. Support has been added for Iptrace and snoop (gzipped) file reading. The apsrserver is designed to collect traffic of aprecv clients (distributed sniffing).


Release Notes: Only a precompiled binary of the aprecv program is currently available for download. New protocols and a new apsend tree were added. Some code cleanups were made. Signal handling and some other things were moved to apsrlib. The configure scripts were updated.
