Well, at least in theory it doesn't violate any laws of physics :)

Yes, Tcl/TK is a BIG memory hog. Stick to this, the Binary. Also, their new page is www.aol.com/aim/linux.... (They're up to version 112)
A better IM client
If you're looking for a better IM client, check out TiK at
tik.sourceforge.net (tik.sourceforge.net) - it has many
nice features, and isn't a memory hog!
This is not a Java app...
I'm not sure what the comments are directed about, but the AIM client provided by AOL is an actual Linux binary, not a Java app.
Well, isn't there GAIM?
Frankly, I don't understand why AOL decied to make this Linux distro of their AIM client, it isn't necessary. There's GAIM, which quite frankly, is much, much better than anything AOL made. Plus, can anything AOL make POSSIBLY be good?
A minimalist Web server for configuration forms.
A program to view, manipulate, and manage messages in a queue of a WebSphere MQ (formally MQSeries) queue manager.
