All releases of Antiprism

Release Notes: There are two new programs: off_normals to model normals, and leonardo to make Leonardo da Vinci style polyhedra. The release also includes important bugfixes.

Release Notes: New features include a large collection of polyhedron models accessible by name and symmetry operations for several programs. The Antiprism C++ library is installed with headers and documentation and may be developed against (this is work in progress). A self-extracting installer is provided for the Windows binary package. The examples section of the Web site has been expanded to provide help for new features

Release Notes: This release includes changes to allow building with GCC 4.3 (as used in Ubuntu 8.10).

Release Notes: This release includes a new program for investigating Bravais lattices, a new program for the optimized generation of Waterman polyhedra, some minor feature additions; and some bugfixes.

Release Notes: This release fixes program crashes that occurred in some situations when the package was built with a recent version of GCC using default options.

Release Notes: The programs will now build correctly with recent versions of GCC when using default options. There is a new program to generate isohedral deltahedra.

Release Notes: This release fixes program hangs and incorrect coloring of polyhedra on 64-bit systems. Documentation has been added to work around an incompatibility when building with some versions of GCC.

Release Notes: The new conway program applies Conway Notation transformations to polyhedra. The new johnson program generates the Johnson polyhedra. Cupolas and bicupolas have been added to the polygon program. The resources section has been expanded to include these models and the uniform polyhedra, all of which can be specified on the command line like a local file. Some example Bash and Python scripts have been included.

Release Notes: There is a new program to make sphericon-like polyhedra. A selection of resources are installed: these include colour maps, lights, and POV-Ray include files. Colours can be given by name. Antiview includes a new spin mode and a camera reset command.

Release Notes: Edge handling has been improved. The GLU tesselator is used for all polygon tesselation, making polygon display more consistent in export formats. The minimum enclosing ball is used for camera positioning, allowing better use of screen space. Special duals can be calculated automatically. There is a new program which spirals points on a sphere, and another which arranges points in rings on a sphere.
