AntiDialer

AntiDialer is a QT-based broadband dialer for Sify Broadband users in India. It has features comparable to the Sify Windows dialer, such as password saving and autologin. Now Sify users no longer have to depend upon the old default dialer provided by Sify.

Release Notes: MAC address spoofing is now part of the dialer. It can be activated by editing the $HOME/.antidialer/antidialerrc configuraton file and entering the desired MAC address in the "value" property of the "MacAddress" element. The dialer now adds missing configuration elements into the config file. The plugin framework is now cleaner and faster. An obscure bug where the dialer crashed when exactly one config element was missing was fixed.

Release Notes: From now on, this software will be released in three forms: source tarball, Deb package, and RPM package. The code was completely rewritten to remove the Qt dependant elements from the core. A primary console based interface was added. A plugin interface was created to allow feature implementation in the form of separate plugin libraries. A GUI plugin based on Qt is included. The heartbeat feature was removed, since it is useless unless you want a tray icon alive all the time.

No changes have been submitted for this release.
