Release Notes: If the new message text is different, the script also checks the time difference between the two messages. If the difference is less than a user-defined value, the new message will be discarded as a batch war message. Otherwise it is displayed. Two new configuration file variables have been added to the configuration file.

Release Notes: Integrity checks are now applied to the config file, so if the user does not specify some variables, the script can recover. Previously, a third argument was passed to signify whether a log (whose name was in the config file) was to be generated. This third argument is now redundant. If the "log file" variable is defined, then the log is created, otherwise the program operates in silent mode, and the log file variable is not created. read_single_variable no longer requires spaces between variables and an equal sign to decipher variable names.

Release Notes: In this release, the config file is read, not sourced. A custom binary is created to be able to retrieve variables from the config file.
