Release Notes: This maintenance release provides fixes for the lyrics search feature, the Helix audio engine, and the scripting system. The translations were updated and extended.

Release Notes: This release focuses on bugfixes, and delivers especially important improvements for users of the Qt 3.3.5 library, fixing a crash when clearing the playlist. There are many stability improvements for users of the Helix audio engine. A build issue has been fixed for the PCLinuxOS distribution. Downloaded cover images will no longer be deleted by amaroK.

Release Notes: This release brings an important bugfix for users of HyperThreading enabled processors. The stability issues with these processors have now been fixed. There are important bugfixes for the collection scanner, the script manager, and visualization support. Helix-engine now supports ALSA natively, using the new RealPlayer 11 as a backend. Atom feeds for podcasts are now supported.

Release Notes: The major new feature of this release is the new volume slider, which is elegant and highly usable. It is now possible to switch the tabs in the Context Browser with the mouse wheel. The GStreamer engine works with ALSA again, and an additional context menu with comfortable functions has been added to the playlist. There are bugfixes for the Podcast and iPod support, as well as other parts of the application.

Release Notes: New features include support for the iPod Shuffle device, a reworked Equalizer tool, and the advanced filtering options for the music collection. The GStreamer engine has been rewritten for better performance, and new artwork has been added to the user interface. There are many bugfixes, notably for the Helix engine, which can now play Ogg Vorbis files.

Release Notes: New features include a Queue-Manager for editing queued tracks in the playlist, an advanced Google-like search syntax for the playlist filter, and visualization support for the Helix engine backend. The dynamic mode interface was reworked and fixed, and the performance of the default analyzer visualization was greatly improved. The scripting interface was extended to provide per-track actions. Numerous bugfixes were made in various parts of the application.

Release Notes: This version fixes several bugs, such as freezing issues during radio stream playback, a crash with the CoverManager, and incorrect track lengths with the XINE backend. It is now possible to queue tracks in the playlist with a keyboard shortcut.

Release Notes: New features include a DCOP call for accessing amaroK's database, which allows querying arbitrary information from the collection. The graphical equalizer script was improved. A global shortcut for muting has been added. Several bugs in the GStreamer engine and in the main application were fixed.
