Release Notes: With the 4.0.2 release, Lite CD (with educational add-ons and a LiveCD) was added. It's an XFCE4 based distribution for old hardware that still works, if not with all of the latest features. It installs on 64M systems, but 128M or more is recommended.
Release Notes: An OpenVZ server image along with a template cache has been added. There are also a JeOS installer and a KVM disk image. Starterkits (built on a stable branch) are now more akin to the weekly Regular builds (using development repository), as they've been set up as a quarterly cron job with a week-long beta period; this time, the beta has been done by hand, but the release state looks good enough to begin the process.
Release Notes: Initial release of an ALT Linux/WindowMaker based LiveCD carrying GNUstep and a considerable slew of apps using this framework. Please note that it's not a well polished distribution (regular builds are rather trying to represent the upstream/Sisyphus state of affairs).
Release Notes: This is a minor update to the 7.0.x series, adding bugfixes and SecureBoot tolerance. KDesktop is 7.0.0/7.0.2RC1 at the moment.
Release Notes: Several more utilities like pv(1) were added. The Linux kernel is temporarily back to 3.10 (standard flavour) as the "forward" package at 3.12 lacks aufs at the moment. This image can boot with SecureBoot enabled on newer UEFI hardware with no questions asked.
Release Notes: ALT Linux Rescue is a moderately-sized LiveCD designed to help sysadmins with tools to perform hardware diagnostics, resize partitions, fix bootloaders/partitions/filesystems, recover partitions and files deleted by accident, backup and restore to network servers, deal with optical/tape/file archives, optimize filesystem usage, diagnose network problems and remote services, wipe partitons or drives clean of residual information, etc. It is updated weekly and tends to include recent kernel and utilities packaged into a hybrid ISO image file. (It supports CD/USBFlash and BIOS/UEFI).
