Release Notes: This is a bugfix release. At least 2 things still need to be fixed. The first one is the jack output plugin that is using deprecated functions. The second one is the resampling. For that, libsamplerate will give a better quality.

No changes have been submitted for this release.

Release Notes: A crash at start up due to loading of the gtk1 config file when present was fixed. A possible buffer overflow in the vorbis input plugin was fixed. Other fixes include a new and updated Swedish translation and an updated man page. As the GTK2 interface is working reliably, this should be the last release candidate before 0.99.80.

Release Notes: The player has now a fully working GTK2 interface. It includes the same functionality as the GTK1 interface and some new functions (loop song and loop playlist). The playlist window has been completely rewritten, and is inside the main window. The scopes plugins have been migrated. A lot of debugging has been done. All users are encouraged to upgrade and to use the GTK2 interface.

Release Notes: This is a feature enhancement and minor bugfix release. It added basic keyboard navigation (skip, pause, etc.), loop mode (looping inside a selection), and speed changes one musical semitone or comma a time using the keyboard (handy for changing the key or tuning the song is played back in). Pressing the play button or key during playback now returns to the beginning of the song. A desktop file was added. Support for FLAC 1.3 and 1.4 was added to the FLAC input plugin.

Re: Alsaplayer breaths quality.
Agreed. The ability to edit your play list in real time would be nice too.

Alsaplayer breaths quality.
The only thing lacking now is propper no nonsense playlist management/handling this would make it much more popular and usable. ( things like recursive adding of directory's containing media etc. are a must imo)
The pitch controll is really impressive though !
