AlPhoNS Web Gallery
AlPhoNS is an advanced Web-based photo gallery which uses Perl and MySQL. Among the features are themes support, album permissions, nested albums, automatic image format conversion, thumbnail creation, uploading archives, image rotation, and EXIF reading.

Release Notes: AlPhoNS now comes with theme support and two additional themes. A configure.pl script, which tries to guess your configuration, makes the installation and the upgrade of existing installations easy. The support for ZIP archives allows you to upload a whole album quickly, using just one ZIP file.

Release Notes: Special albums for voting were added. Error handling was improved. The session driver was changed from db_file to file to reduce dependencies. Some bugfixes were made, and more information was added in the README.
