JumpBox for Alfresco CMS is a JumpBox virtual appliance for the Alfresco content management system. Alfresco is an enterprise content management (ECM) system that provides features for document management, collaboration, records management, knowledge management, Web content management, and imaging. Alfresco has the goal of providing an ECM system that surpasses commercial ECMs in terms of features, functionality, and benefits to the user community.

Release Notes: This JumpBox is now running on the production release of the v.1.1 platform, and includes several enhancements. Most notably, this includes built-in automated backups to Amazon S3, integrated Web stats for the application, a GUI-based SSL cert configuration tool, a GUI-based method for configuring an email relay, and an update of the underlying OS to Ubuntu Base 8.04 LTS.


Release Notes: A backup related bug has been fixed. This bug prevented backups of large application datasets. If you are using an older version and can't back up, a workaround is available. The Xen configuration has been modified to safely accomodate the new disk layout. The target platform is Open Source Xen in HVM mode. HVM is required.
