Release Notes: This release has a number of fixes improving the performance and stability of the open source radio software from Sourcefabric. Streaming was a major focus of the 2.2 release; the team has improved the fading between streams, and it is now smoother in Airtime 2.2.1. Issues with the stream connection and previewing have been resolved. Smart Blocks, which let DJs and Station Managers fill a block of time with audio according to parameters, have been tweaked.

Release Notes: Over forty improvements were made, including three new ways for radio stations to better manage audio files, a one-step Ubuntu install, graceful reboot recovery, Shoutcast support, and improved front-end JavaScript widgets to allow stations to display their programme online. Airtime now stores files in a new easy-to-search directory, allowing producers and presenters to find and edit audio ready for broadcast. "Magic file synchronisation" then automatically updates playlists and shows when audio files are edited.

Release Notes: This release significantly improves the upgrading and installing process. A new command line program called "airtime-check-system" verifies the environment in which Airtime is being installed and troubleshoots problems. Audio files can now be downloaded from Airtime's Search and "Show Content" screens. A show that is recording can now be cancelled, editing a playlist name or deleting a playlist now reflects immediately in the media search window, and the "Now Playing" screen shows whether or not a show is being recorded. Finally, the size limit for audio files has been increased to 500MB.
