Release Notes: The interface is now available in 11 languages, and there is an option for users to add new translations. Icecast and SHOUTcast listener statistics are available, as are automatically set cue-points and ReplayGain improvements. 250 other bugfixes and minor improvements were also implemented.
Release Notes: This release has a number of fixes improving the performance and stability of the open source radio software from Sourcefabric. Streaming was a major focus of the 2.2 release; the team has improved the fading between streams, and it is now smoother in Airtime 2.2.1. Issues with the stream connection and previewing have been resolved. Smart Blocks, which let DJs and Station Managers fill a block of time with audio according to parameters, have been tweaked.
Release Notes: This release has smart playlists and new live assist modes. Users can now configure and rebroadcast remote live input streams from the Web, DJ programs, or smartphone applications used by broadcast journalists. Additionally, they can schedule these streams in the calendar, or schedule a ‘live’ show that records from the computer’s line-in. Improvements to the library management improve archive searching and programming, allowing the professionals to take advantage of new FLAC, WAV, AAC, and ReplayGain support.
Release Notes: This release adds a number of fixes improving performance of the playout engine, jQuery widgets, and streams. The team and community have fixed playout engine issues and jQuery widgets not showing or incorrectly showing the past Sunday on Sunday. Also fixed is dragging and dropping tracks into a live show, which could cause to Web UI to become unsynchronized from what is actually playing. Users are now able to receive mono streams for Master or Show source broadcasts, and Soundcloud uploads are now working for all users.
Release Notes: This is a one-line change hotfix release. Most users will have been notified via the update notifier. It fixes Airtime's Pypo scheduler so that it correctly retrieves the program schedule after extended periods of inactivity by the user.
Release Notes: Airtime now includes live stream rebroadcasting, which allows remote broadcasters to connect to Airtime via tools such as Mixxx or Virtual DJ. Airtime will rebroadcast the stream, either at a set time or in the middle of an existing broadcast with a smooth transition. DJs can now edit their automated shows in realtime, even while they're on air. Last second schedule changes, such as moving or adding a track, are performed with a drag-and-drop movement using the Web interface. A Playout Log detailing the tracks played is now available.
Release Notes: This release fixes security issues. The issues relate to pypo permissions and monit permissions and are deemed critical. Upgrading is strongly recommended. Airtime 2.0.x versions support upgrading from version 1.8.0 and above. If you are running a production server with a version of Airtime prior to 1.8.0, you should upgrade it to version 1.8.0 before continuing. Before upgrading any production server, you should back up.
Release Notes: Airtime’s Calendar display speed is now twice as fast, the dashboard is twice as fast, and the Now Playing page is up to six times faster. In addition, it sorts out a couple of issues with the playout engine, works on improving the show recorder, and deals with a filename upgrade issue affecting those trying to upgrade from 1.8.2.
Release Notes: An infamous missing Australia and Arctic timezone bug was fixed (with apologies to the entire populations of both). Media Monitor behavior was improved: it no longer changes the owner of watched files, and an issue with 24 hour shows that failed to calculate total play-time and gave a false warning to users was fixed. A problem where the Current Playing item on the top panel sometimes incorrectly showed "Nothing Scheduled" was fixed. A problem where playback did not resume after changing stream settings was fixed.
