Projects / AgileTrack

AgileTrack is an agile development planning and iteration tracking tool. It assists in the creation and life-cycle of iterations, projects, stories, tasks, and bugs. It is focused on simplicity and practicality. Its interface is designed to be useful specifically for software developers on small development teams with rapidly-changing priorities and requirements. Its primary interface for developers is geared toward availability, speed, and purpose. It is flexible and minimalistic with respect to the data that is required for records. It is designed to be compatible with agile development methodologies, particularly Extreme Programming.

This project/issue management system is terrific!

After reviewing, evaluating, and studying dozens of other products in its class, I stumbled upon this gem. It has most all of the features desired in a tracking system that others don't, like hierarchal task/issue management, iteration management, release management, and timer functionality. In particular, I couldnít find any other affordable issue management system which allows the management of project, stories, issues, and tasks in a hieratical fashion. The ability to use AgileTrack with different databases also makes it very versatile, since most others limit you to a particular database. Although Iím not particularly into the agile methodology, this system fits my needs perfectly. After reading many books on the agile methodology Iíve always wanted to use more of itís ideas, however, and it looks like AgileTrack will allow me to start moving towards many of itís practices. Nice work, and kudosí to the author(s)!
