Release Notes: A search button was added to all dialogs showing DIR_CONFIG data. In afd_ctrl, dir_ctrl, and mon_ctrl, one can quickly change the font size by pressing Ctrl and "+" or "-". Parent and child synchronization were added for the dir_check process, which solves the nasty problem that could lead to more than one of them running distributing data. The bug in which AFD goes in an endless loop when specifying an unknown pexec option was fixed.


Release Notes: An error that could lead to many open file descriptors under certain conditions was fixed along with a problem where the AMG process could crash when the maximum number of options specified in DIR_CONFIG was reached. Toggling the queue or starting/stopping a host should now be done in an atomic manner. The edit_hc dialog now shows the correct block size. In the afd_info and mon_info dialogs, it is now possible to edit the information directly. The %T time modifier was added for the subject option. One can remove WMO headers from a bulletin with the -H extract option. The init scripts for afd and afdmon have been made more LSB compliant.


Release Notes: Detection of XPM support was improved. Fetching files via HTTP works now with more Web sites. More error cases in an URL are now reported to the user. Alda has been extended to handle remote log files as well.


Release Notes: A new command line tool was added, which allows you to evaluate AFD logs. The logs can now be printed in any format the user wants. The dialogs afd_ctrl, mon_ctrl, and dir_ctrl now use an external bitmap for faster display. Support for SMTP authentication has been added. For the SSH protocol, some of the openssh extensions are now directly supported.


Release Notes: This release adds a bootup script for afd_mon. splice() support has been implemented. When sending files, AFD can now keep the connection open.


Release Notes: Files that have been distributed or are to be distributed can now be viewed via show_olog and show_queue dialog. A new interface for acknowledging errors was added. All events are logged into a separate log file. The pattern matching function was enhanced so that it can also handle [] brackets. More syntax checks were added for options in DIR_CONFIG.


Release Notes: The directory option 'store remote list' can now also be used for local directories. All the log files monitored by afd_mon can now be centralized. Apache directory listing (HTTP) has been implemented. Support for extended active and passive FTP mode has been added.


Release Notes: This release implements fetching files via SFTP. sendfile() support has been added for Linux only. A new email option 'file name is target' has been added. From the dialog dir_ctrl, it is now possible to view DIR_CONFIG entries for each directory monitored by AFD. The error where setting ASCII mode for FTP had no effect has been fixed.


Release Notes: This release adds support for sending files via SFTP. Duplicate checks can now be done on a per-host basis. Hosts can be put in a group to share one transfer rate limit value.


Release Notes: A problem where files that had dates in the future where deleted immediatly when age-limit option was set was fixed. When sending HTTP request, the header may not contain empty lines. The locking error which allowed jobs to be handled twice was corrected. When opening the job details window it will only resize this window and not afd_ctrl window. The speed was increased for initial visualizing of afd_ctrl and mon_ctrl dialog. An option to set the default SMTP server and From: line was added in AFD_CONFIG.
