Aqua Data Studio is a database developer's complete IDE. It provides three major areas of functionality: a database query and administration tool, a suite of comparison tools for databases, source control, and filesystems, and a complete and integrated source control client for Subversion and CVS. It supports Oracle, DB2 iSeries, DB2 LUW, MS SQL Server, Sybase ASE, Sybase Anywhere, Sybase IQ, Informix, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Apache Derby, JDBC, and ODBC.

Release Notes: This release adds support for the ParAccel Analytic Database, SQL Server 2012, SQL Log Capture Tool, SSH Browser for ProcFS on Unix machines, and many other enhancements to the ER Modeler and the application in general.


Release Notes: This release added a secure shell (SSH) environment, Perforce and Git version control support, autosave workspaces, shortcut toolbar enhancements, a multithreaded UI, an integrated compression tool and PDF viewer, import and export tool performance enhancements and throttling, OS file MIME type integration, and Excel 2007 support.


Release Notes: New features include a script development IDE, including a JavaScript editor and debugger for writing scripts to automate the functionality of the application using the new Open APIs, which are composed of 20 API packages ranging from archiving and charting to version control. Full native support was added for the Netezza Data Warehousing database. Many Chart package enhancements were made, including new World Map Chart. The DDL script generation of Table and Index partitioning information is supportsed for all databases supporting partitioning.


Release Notes: Memory optimizations were made using compression on large query result sets. ER model conversion now uses the ER modeler to convert schemas from one database to another, providing a universal schema migration tool. Native support was added for DB2 z/OS, Teradata, and Aster nCluster. New database version support was added, including Apache Derby 10.5, DB2 LUW 9.7, DB2 iSeries V6R1, PostgreSQL 8.4, and Sybase IQ 15. Subversion 1.6 is supported.
