Release Notes: Support for UNIX domain sockets has been added. Clients can connect on a socket and get events, and there are several command line options for socket perms and name. The default file locations have been changed to /etc/acpi/events. The man page has been updated. Support for command line options has been added to actions. read_line() has been changed to be more generic. This requires the /proc/acpi/event kernel patch for poll and read() semantics. This release is RC 1, and will be 1.0 if there are no bug reports.
