Ace Operator

Ace Operator enables live interactions between company representatives and customers from the company Web site. It allows customers to contact live agents at the click of a button, engage in interactive conversation, and exchange information using multi-media content. It also allows companies to monitor visitors to their Web site and initiate a conversation. It is an excellent tool for low-cost pre-sales support and any kind of customer services over the Web.

Release Notes: Support for the Croatian language has been added. Ace Operator can now send email through a server supporting SSL encryption. Bugs related to the handling of strings containing non-ISO8859-1 characters has been fixed. Ace Operator now uses the UTF-8 encoding. Bugs in which the application server was not able to reverse proxy HTTP requests to a back-end Web server has been fixed. Other minor bugs were fixed.

    Release Notes: This release is a stable maintenance release. Problems with the Dutch language translations were fixed. Ace Operator was upgraded to work with Java 1.5, MySQL 5.x, and Tomcat 5.5. A number of minor bugs have been fixed. Operators can now see the IP address of the calling party.

    Release Notes: Support for Italian language has been added for the Ace Operator chat screens.

    Release Notes: This is mainly a bugfix release. It successfully starts up as a Windows 2003 service. The system now workd with MySQL 4.1 or higher. A bug related to Unicode character encoding has been fixed. The source code has been refactored. The build scripts have been significantly overhauled.

    Release Notes: The chat screens have been translated to the Dutch language in addition to English, French, German, and Spanish. The "Do Not Disturb" feature has been enhanced to make it server-aware. This improves call handling and results in less Internet traffic. Ace Operator can now redirect users to an "All Operators Are Busy" page. New parameters have been added to enable/disable users from sending Web pages/Buzz. A number of translations-related bugs have been fixed.
