Release Notes: This is the first release candidate for the 64 Studio 1.0 distribution. Bugfixes include working software RAID support, and dual Opteron machines can now benefit from a NUMA-enabled SMP kernel with realtime preemption. An alternative install CD image is now available for 32-bit Intel/AMD processors. Known bugs in this release: DRI support is not enabled in the kernel for some AGP chipsets, preventing 3D acceleration from working. Printconf and portmap take too long to configure during the installation. Synaptic may produce an error message until the "Reload" button is clicked.

Release Notes: A number of bugs were fixed. An alternative i386 build is now provided for 32-bit PCs. Several known bugs remain: software RAID support via mdadm is broken, printconf takes too long during install, and after an offline install, Synaptic may produce an error message.

Release Notes: This beta release features an AMD64 install image reduced in size to fit on a CD-R (a DVD burner is no longer required to make install discs). An alternative i386 'Old Skool' edition is now available. It works on everything from a Via C3 processor upwards, just more slowly. The snd_seq module now loads automatically at boot time by default.

Release Notes: Some known bugs remain in this beta release. The snd_seq module is not loaded automatically, which causes errors with MIDI applications until the module is loaded manually. The Gnome-cups-add printer applet does not work properly. After installation, Synaptic produces an error message until apt-get update is run.
