dhex is a more than just another hex editor: It includes a diff mode, which can be used to easily and conveniently compare two binary files. Since it is based on ncurses and is themeable, it can run on any number of systems and scenarios. With its utilization of search logs, it is possible to track changes in different iterations of files easily.

quotatool is a utility for setting and manipulating filesystem quotas from the command line. It supports quota on Linux (versions 3.x, 2.6, 2.4, and 2.2, with ext2, ext3, ext4, ReiserFS, and XFS), Solaris, and AIX.
Release Notes: It is now possible to alter quotas for non-existent uids/gids. Gb and Tb have been added as multipliers for size arguments. Several bugs have been fixed. Documentation has been improved. Development has been moved to Github.
JWPL is a language independent, database-driven, high performance Wikipedia API that provides structured access to information nuggets like redirects, categories, articles, and link structure. It contains a Mediawiki Markup parser that can be used to further analyze the contents of a Wikipedia page or standalone with other text, TimeMachine, which reconstructs a snapshot of Wikipedia from a specific date, or multiple snapshots from a time span, and RevisionMachine, which offers efficient access to the history of articles using a dedicated storage format which decreases storage space by 98%. This enables random access to the whole revision history without requiring several terabytes of storage for a single Wikipedia dump.

The Parted Magic OS employs core programs from GParted and Parted to handle partitioning tasks with ease, while featuring other useful programs including Partition Image, TestDisk, fdisk, sfdisk, dd, and ddrescue and an excellent set of documentation to benefit the user. An extensive collection of fileystem tools are also included, and the following filesystems are supported: ext2, ext3, ext4, FAT16, FAT32, HFS, HFS+, JFS, Linux-swap, NTFS, ReiserRS, reiser4, and XFS. It loads completely to system memory and requires at least 256MB of RAM to operate.
Release Notes: This release updates some programs and fixes a few bugs. The most notable updates include Clonezilla 1.2.12-10, TrueCrypt 7.1, Firefox 10.0.1, and Linux 3.2.6. When busybox was compiled for the last release, dpkg and ar were mistakenly left out. When the last kernel was compiled, the bnep module was missed.
There are many photo-gallery programs available. Zoph is different, as it concentrates on the management of large collection of photos instead of just showing them on the Web. It can store a lot of information about your photos, including the regular EXIF info, photographer, location, title, description, rating, and the people in the photo. GnuTLS is a secure communications library implementing the SSL, TLS, and DTLS protocols and technologies around them. It provides a simple C language application programming interface (API) to access the secure communications protocols, as well as APIs to parse and write X.509, PKCS #12, OpenPGP, and other required structures. It is intended to be portable and efficient with a focus on security and interoperability.

GRASS (the Geographic Resources Analysis Support System) is a software raster- and vector-based GIS (Geographic Information System), image processing system, graphics production system, and spatial modeling system. twsapi is a portable C++ API for Interactive Brokers TWS. It is almost identical to the original IB C++ Posix API. It contains several bugfixes and usage improvements, and uses the autotools build system.

cpulimit is a simple program that attempts to limit the CPU usage of a process (expressed in percentage, not in CPU time). This is useful to control batch jobs when you don't want they eat too much CPU. It does not act on the nice value or other scheduling priority details, but on the real CPU usage. Also, it is able to adapt itself to the overall system load, dynamically and quickly.

Remote Launcher is an easy to use tool that enables you to launch applications remotely on your PC via your Android device with a single click. Talend Open Studio for Data Quality helps you to profile your data. The ergonomic interface allows you to define metrics (indicators) and collect statistics on your data in a few clicks. It comes with a set of regular expressions that helps you to identify bad data. You can create your own regular expressions and use them in data profiling analyses. A lot of options exist for each indicator, which change the behavior of the indicator so that it gives you more pertinent information. Data quality options on indicators alert you when your data quality is not what you expected.
