Arkeia Network Backup is designed for organizations that require fast, easy-to-use, and affordable data protection. It backs up critical data to disk, tape, and cloud storage. Arkeia protects all major virtual platforms including VMware, Hyper-V, XenServer, and more than 200 physical platforms including Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, Netware, most UNIX flavors, and BSDs. The company’s source-side Progressive Deduplication technology helps users realize better performance at a lower cost by reducing data volumes. Arkeia’s deduplication is crucial to accelerating replication of on-premise backups to private or public clouds.
Release Notes: Cloud “Seeding and Feeding”: export one or multiple backup sets in deduped format onto USB-connected disk drives or disk arrays. Ship physical media to remote storage and import the backup sets into a remote backup server. Cloud recovery via portable disk: perform the feeding and seeding operation in reverse. Data are maintained in dedupe format when shipped on physical media back to LAN. The process for downloading, installing, and configuring Arkeia Network Backup software has been re-engineered.
Potrace is a utility for tracing a bitmap (that is, transforming a bitmap into a smooth, scalable image). The input is a portable bitmap (PBM), and the default output is an encapsulated PostScript file (EPS). A typical use is to create EPS files from scanned data, such as company or university logos, handwritten notes, etc. The resulting image is not "jaggy" like a bitmap, but smooth. It can then be rendered at any resolution.
Release Notes: This release adds a GeoJSON backend, support for bitfields in the BMP format, and a minor change in the behavior of the alphamax parameter (a value of 0 now gives a true polygon).
XINS is a technology used to define, create, and invoke remote APIs. XINS is specification-oriented. When API specifications are written (in XML), XINS will transform them to HTML-based documentation and Java code for both the client-side and the server-side. The communication is based on HTTP. XINS competes with the complex SOAP technology. Main design goals include simplicity, scalability, and testability. XINS is not only a specification technology, but also an application development framework. It offers transaction logging, unique log documentation, and active code generation.
Release Notes: This release candidate fixes minor bugs and prepares for the final release.
Scache is a different approach for PHP session data management. It provides a generic key-value data cache to use for transient session data storage. Scache also provides a shared keyspace, shared counters, and simple cache features. Scache's difference to other implementations is a tree-structured keyspace where one can easily operate only on required parts of stored session data and also invalidate groups of stored data by expiring whole subtrees. Despite its name, scache is not a cache. Scache stores all session data inserted until data is deliberately destroyed and so reduces the need to redundantly store the same data somewhere else. Scache consists of a daemon and a PHP extension.
Release Notes: This minor update supports PHP major version 5.4
The DocBook Authoring and Publishing Suite (DAPS) provides a tool set for easy creation and publication of DocBook sources on Linux. It lets you create HTML (including Webhelp), PDF, EPUB, man pages, and other formats with a single command. It automatically takes care of validating and filtering (profiling) your sources and automatically converts images into a format best suited for the output format. You can easily create profiled source tarballs for translation or review. DAPS supports authors by providing linkchecker, validator, spellchecker, and editor macros. It is well suited to manage large documentation projects with multiple authors using the DAPS docmanager.

PHP HTTP protocol client is a PHP class for making HTTP requests. It can establish connections via SOCKS or proxy servers and establish secure connections (HTTPS) with optional SSL client certificates. It supports HTTP Basic, HTTP Digest, and NTLM (Windows or Samba) authentication mechanisms. It submits POST requests with user-defined form values, file uploading, or with user-defined request bodies. It handles cookies and automatic redirection handling. There is an addon class that logs in to Yahoo! and executes actions on behalf of the user, like exporting the address book or sending invitations to Yahoo! groups.
Release Notes: This release fixes the HTTP POST requests so they always set the Content-Length header even when no request values are submitted.
PHP OAuth API can authorize the access of users to an API using the OAuth protocol. It abstracts OAuth 1.0, 1.0a, and 2.0 in the same class, so you can use the same "obtain a token" to authorize the access on behalf of the current user any API which supports any version of the OAuth protocol. It provides built-in support for several popular OAuth servers, so you do not have to configure the class manually with all OAuth server-specific details. Currently, it provides built-in support for the OAuth servers of Dropbox, Eventful, Facebook, Fitbit, Flickr, Foursquare, github, Google, Instagram, LinkedIn, Microsoft, Scoop.it, StockTwits, Tumblr, Twitter, and Yahoo!. Every other OAuth server is supported by setting endpoint URLs and other parameters using specific class variables. The class can also send requests to an API using the previously-obtained OAuth access token.
Release Notes: This release adds built-in support for StockTwits and Eventful OAuth servers.
