Yentoo is stock Gentoo ported to the Lemote Yeeloong, a netbook based on a 64-bit little endian MIPS processor named the loongson2f. Although Gentoo strives to be a "from source" distribution, building a full desktop system from a Gentoo's stage3 seed using a slow processor like the loongson2f can take many days of frustration. Yentoo gives the user a head start by providing a prebuilt XFCE4 desktop with software for browsing, email, word processing, multimedia, chat and games. It also provides a toolchain and development tools ready to target 32- and 64-bit little endian MIPS for ABI=o32, n32, and n64. Two flavors are provided, vanilla and hardened. Hardened Yentoo has all userland built with Gentoo's hardened toolchain for added security. However, the added security comes at a price of running slightly slower than the vanilla version.
Release Notes: This is the initial pubic announcement, but the project has been in development for two years and is well tested.
Check_MK is a complex addon for Nagios/Icinga and consists of three subprojects. The check and inventory system Check_MK is a general purpose Nagios plugin for retrieving data. It adopts a new approach for collecting data and obsoletes NRPE, check_by_ssh, NSClient, and check_snmp. It features a significant reduction of CPU use on the Nagios host and automatic inventory of items to be checked, and is especially useful with larger Nagios installations. "MK Livestatus" gives immediate and fast access to live and historic Nagios status data. It's a supported backend for many addons including NagVis, NagiosBP, and Thruk. "Check_MK Multisite" is a feature complete replacement for the Nagios GUI, and uses MK Livestatus as a backend. It is very fast, and supports efficient distributed monitoring.
Release Notes: This patch release fixes several minor bugs and encoding related problems in Multisite and the reporting module. It comes with a bunch of minor fixes for different Check_MK checks.
MyJgui is a GUI (graphical user interface) for MySQL. It aims to be easy to use for new users as well as experts. You can store multiple connections that can be used simultaneously. Stored passwords are encrypted using symmetric encryption. Underlying databases and tables are displayed in a tree structure with the connections being the first level nodes. MyJgui is capable of easy data manipulation through a grid. It has a unique feature of bookmarking parametrical queries (sqlmarks). The documentation (user guide) is quite comprehensive and kept up-to-date.
Release Notes: An initial version of intelligent SQL query completion was added. A popup is shown when pressing CTRL+SPACE. For now, possible values contains a list of standard SQL keywords, which are stored in configs/is/sqlkeywords. Bugs in the dialogs for managing SQLmarks and in checking connection alias duplicates were fixed. The password storing feature was temporary disabled and will be reworked soon.

halttimer waits for LIRC events or SIGUSR1 and sets a timer which will initiate the shutdown sequence (via "sudo halt" by default) when the time is up. The timer's timeout decreases with each keypress by a specified amount of time. Visualization is done using an on-screen-display (OSD).
Release Notes: This release fixes the -n parameter and adapts halttimer to a newer autoconf version.
metaf2xml can download, parse, and decode aviation routine weather reports (METAR, SPECI, SAO), aerodrome forecasts (TAF), synoptic observations (SYNOP), and BUOY observations, and store the data as XML. XSLT style sheets convert it to plain language, as HTML or text. Current weather data from NOAA and other sources can be fetched and displayed.

Vrapper is an Eclipse plugin which acts as a wrapper for Eclipse text editors to provide a Vim-like input scheme for moving around and editing text. Unlike other plugins which embed Vim in Eclipse, Vrapper imitates the behavior of Vim while still using whatever editor you have opened in the workbench. The goal is to have the comfort and ease which comes with the different modes, complex commands, and count/operator/motion combinations which are the key features behind editing with Vim, while preserving the powerful features of the different Eclipse text editors, like code generation and refactoring.
Release Notes: Many defects were fixed, including some really old ones.
Conseptizer is two things: 1. a closure(-mimic) / higher-order programming and dynamic typing library for the C programming language, 2. a very dynamic programming language that provides expressiveness through simplicity and offers powerful features that cannot be found in mainstream languages today. Each of these two aspects can be useful on their own, but the combination and tight integration in Conseptizer means: if at some point your runtime performance requirements are not fulfilled by the dynamic language, it is very easy to migrate parts of your program code to C.
Release Notes: A public C interface is now provided.
