Lynkeos processes astronomical webcam images. By stacking the best images, the signal to noise ratio is increased, and details lost in the noise of individual images become visible in the resulting image. This software accepts, as input, QuickTime, AVI, and MPEG sequences, or still images, in any image format supported by its active plugins (TIFF, FITS) and Cocoa. It generates a 16-bit RGB TIFF or a monochrome FITS image as output, to be further processed with some all-purpose image processing application.
Release Notes: New optimized processing of RAW format dark frames. Correction of bad image refresh since OS X 10.8 (bug #73). Correction of bugs in minimum, maximum, and sigma clip stacking (bugs #57 and #70).
HGL is a compiler/interpreter suite for developing images. It features its own simple but powerful language, Lua integration, output in various formats as well as runtime input handled by plugins, and easy integration into various environments like Web servers or graphical applications. The input is taken from a source file, which has to be compiled for quick and frequent access by the interpreter. An interpreter then runs the compiled files, takes input from custom plugins (if neccessary), and outputs its result via custom plugins.
Release Notes: Scaling of points, lines, and ellipses has been corrected. Lua functions have been added: createRect, STD_num2hex, and STD_createMultiLine. Bugfixes and improvements in the rendering engine.
Fotoxx navigates an image collection using a thumbnail browser to choose images to view or edit. Edit functions include brightness, contrast, color, gamma, white balance, tone mapping, red eyes, sharpen, blur, noise suppression, smart erase, trim (crop), resize, rotate, add text, bend/warp, many art effects, HDR, HDF, stack, and panorama. Edit functions use movable curves and sliders. Feedback is live using the whole image. RAW files can be edited and saved with deep color. Areas or objects can be selected using freehand draw, follow edge, and tone matching. Selections can be edited in place with adjustable blending. They can also be cut and pasted into other images. Any metadata can be edited, reported, and searched (filenames, tags, dates, geotags, comments, captions, ratings, etc.). Collections (arbitrary subsets) can be defined and viewed. Batch functions are available for rename, resize/export, RAW conversion, and more.
Release Notes: The gallery page now highlights the current image thumbnail. Gallery thumbnails can pop up larger images, which can be moved and resized to view multiple images. Convert an image into a mosaic with small tiles made from all available images. Click on the tiles to pop-up larger images. Add a background pattern to an image (e.g. make it appear to be painted on canvas or a brick wall). Several small interface changes were made for convenience and consistency with other apps. Speed was also improved. Three significant bugs were fixed.
Gwyddion is a modular SPM (Scanning Probe Microsope) data visualization and analysis tool. It can be used for all most frequently used data processing operations including: leveling, false color plotting, shading, filtering, denoising, data editing, integral transforms, grain analysis, profile extraction, fractal analysis, and many more. Two new file modules were added (OME TIFF and Accurex II TXT), and one data processing module (Rank transform presentation). Import of NT-MDT hybrid mode, HDR images, APE, NanoScanTech, RHK SM4, Igor Pro, and Nanoscan files was improved.
Pcompress is an archiver that can do compression/decompression and deduplication in parallel by splitting input data into chunks. It has a modular structure and includes support for multiple algorithms like LZMA, Bzip2, PPMD, LZ4, etc., with KECCAK/BLAKE2/SHA-256/512 chunk checksums. SSE optimizations for the bundled LZMA are included. It also implements chunk-level Content-Aware Deduplication and Delta Compression features based on a Polynomial Fingerprinting scheme. It has low metadata overhead and overlaps I/O and compression to achieve maximum parallelism. It has AES encryption capability and uses Scrypt from Tarsnap to generate per-session unique keys from passwords. It can work in pipe mode, reading from stdin and writing to stdout. It also provides some adaptive compression modes in which a suitable algorithm is chosen per chunk based on heuristics.
Release Notes: This release fixes several important bugs in the 3.0 version, making it more stable. In addition, automatic scaling of compression buffers based on compression level has been added. This improves compression ratio for the simple usage modes.

Whonix is an anonymous general-purpose operating system based on Virtual Box, Debian GNU/Linux, and Tor. By design, IP and DNS leaks are impossible. Not even malware with root rights can find out the user's real IP/location, because Whonix consists of two (virtual) machines. One machine solely runs Tor and acts as a gateway, called Whonix-Gateway. The other machine, Whonix-Workstation, is on a completely isolated network. Only connections through Tor are possible.
Release Notes: This release adds many improvements.
Seed7 is a general purpose programming language. It is a higher level language compared to Ada, C++, and Java. In Seed7, new statements and operators can be declared easily. Functions with type results and type parameters are more elegant than a template or generics concept. Object orientation is used when it brings advantages and not in places when other solutions are more obvious. Although Seed7 contains several concepts of other programming languages, it is generally not considered as a direct descendant of any other programming language.

Immutable Collections for Java is a library providing immutable/persistent collection classes for Java. While collections are immutable, they provide methods for adding and removing values by creating new modified copies of themselves. Each copy shares almost all of its structure with other copies, to minimize memory consumption. The library includes a singly-linked (cons/cddr style) list/stack, an integer tree-based indexed list, a 2-3 tree-based random access indexed list, a 2-3 tree-based map, a hash tree-based map, and hash- and tree-based sets. All collections provide immutable Cursor as well as standard Iterator classes for looping through all elements. A utility class provides functional style algorithmic processing of Cursors, including foldLeft, foldRight, collect, select, and reject. The 2-3 tree and integer tree classes are optimized for performance and can be used alongside java.util Collections when immutability is needed for safe data sharing.
Release Notes: This release provides significant performance enhancements in hash maps and insert order maps. It also adds a new JImmutableArray interface and implementation, providing memory-efficient sparse arrays.
Kcov is a code coverage tester based for compiled programs (C/C++, etc) and Python scripts.
