expect-lite is an quick and easy command line automation tool. Written in expect, it is designed to directly map an interactive terminal session into an automation script. expect-lite scripts use special character(s) at the beginning of each line to indicate the action. Basic expect-lite scripts can be created by simply cutting and pasting text from a terminal window into a script, and adding '>' '<' characters. No knowledge of expect is required. Expect-lite is targeted at the verification testing environment, and will produce a Pass/Fail result at the end of the script. However, its use is not limited to this environment. It includes a powerful debugger with breakpoints, step/skip, and the ability to copy/paste expect-lite lines right into a running script.

Release Notes: Fuzzy Expect: expect an approximate number. Plus several bugfixes: $var ending in semicolon not dereferencing, an IDE issue when typing a line that ended in a semicolon, and while loop comparison if the first value was blank.

SNG (Scriptable Network Graphics) is a mini-language designed specifically to represent the entire contents of a PNG in an editable form. Thus, SNGs representing elaborate graphics images and ancillary chunk data can be readily generated or modified using only text tools. SNG is implemented by a compiler/decompiler called sng that losslessly translates between SNG and PNG.

Dowse eases the configuration of network routing for a local area network, starting from the setup of ARP-level static entries of known peers, IP-level firewall, DHCP configuration, and local DNS cache, up to an application layer transparent proxy and optional gateways to anonymous networks such as Tor and I2P. It consists of a minimalistic script which can run on any GNU/Linux box and which, from a central configuration point, controls Ebtables, Iptables, and all the daemons needed for such operations: DnsMasq, Squid2, and Privoxy. It comes with a module system for contributed add-ons like DNSCrypt-proxy and HTTPS-everywhere.

Release Notes: Starting and stopping Dowse now works faster. New and safer iptables rules have been adopted and the code has been reorganized. The Squid/Privoxy functionality was moved into a module, preserving only firewalling and dnsmasq as the core functionalities of Dowse. A comprehensive whitepaper is distributed with the source, outlining future plans.

The system is comprised of a compiler for generating C++ message and field encoders, decoders, and instantiation tables, a runtime library to support the generated code and framework, and a set of complete client/server test applications. For the same message, Fix8 encodes 3.2 times faster and decodes 2.3 times faster than Quickfix, an average of 2.7 times. In other words, it reduces encode latency by 69% and reduces decode latency by 56%.

Release Notes: This release adds some important improvements that many users have been asking for, and also marks the fork of Fix8Pro, the commercially supported version. C++11 compiler support is now required. Windows NuGet package support, multisession (client/server) support, and default configuration settings were added.

It automatically preserves transparency, interlacing and text comments, and it can do multiple images in one command (e.g., gif2png *.gif). The distribution also includes a web2png script that can be used to convert an entire web tree; it calls gif2png to do image conversions, then patches IMG SRC tags correctly in referring pages.

Release Notes: This release adds support for Arduino 1.0.5. Support for new programmers and non-serial programmers was added. It is now possible to force programmer selection using a keyboard shortcut. Initial work on supporting auto-detecting plugged devices was done. More fixes were made in default startup and the code preprocessor. An import library menu option was added, and code examples menu options were fixed.
