Evo/Lution is a live CD with a graphical installer for Arch Linux. Evo, the live CD, is an Arch based OS that cannot be installed. It is simply a platform to run the Lution installer, which is made to install Arch. It has options to install anything ranging from the Arch base, to base + the packages you select, including complete turn key desktop environments. The installer downloads all the packages you select from the Arch repositories during the install process so you always end up with a current, up to date install.

yuck is a command line option parser for C that works on a minimal set of dependencies - only a C compiler and the m4 macro processor are required. It supports all the standard use cases: GNU-style long options (--option), condensable short options (-xab for -x -a -b), and optional arguments to long and short options (--foo[=BAR]), multiple occurrence of options (-vvv). Most importantly, it does not depend on libc's getopt() nor getopt_long().

Release Notes: This release displays the first line of description behind commands in the command overview, supports custom sections in man pages (like help2man), and provides support for post hooks, custom callbacks after printing the help page, the usage page, or the version page. Preliminary support was provided for parsing options via the setopt directive and for an auto-dashdash feature (needs polishing). OS X build issues were fixed.

uterus is a codec library for financial tick data with an emphasis on market data integrity and maintainability. It comes with a set of tools to convert (mux) and print (demux) data from some sources, and to perform standard tasks like selecting instruments, creating snapshots and candles from tick data, etc. Special care is taken to provide longevity and consistence. All timestamps are internally converted to coordinated time, and price and quantity quotes are converted to a monetary datatype which doesn't suffer from rounding errors. Most importantly, meta data is stored along with the payload data in an inseparable unit, to provide self-contained and self-documenting files or network streams.

Release Notes: ute mux now sorts files larger than 80GB and reconciles symbol lookup tables when they don't coincide. ute info now supports --guess for candles with missing width fields. ute info supports --files to repeat the file names in the output, similar to grep -H. ute files can be opened in live mode so that streams can write to the file whilst other tools read from them at the same time.

Clonezilla is a partition or disk cloning tool similar to Symantec Ghost. It saves and restores only blocks in use on the hard drive if the file system is supported. For unsupported file systems, dd is used instead. It has been used to clone a 5 GB system to 40 clients in about 10 minutes.

Release Notes: The underlying GNU/Linux operating system was upgraded. This release is based on the Debian Sid repository (as of 2014/Mar/03). The drbl package was updated to 2.7.29-drbl1. A bug that caused jfbterm to crash when the Japanese language was used with the AMD64 version of Clonezilla live was fixed.

Release Notes: This release fixed a bug where the language was sometimes lost after it was initially selected when the application was started for the first time. A tool was added for searching the computer for ports in use, connected ports, listening ports, reserved ports, and all ports that can not bind. Dutch and Italian translations were added. The HTML help files now use embedded images, dramatically reducing the number of files that need to be installed.

Implied tags are now calculated on-the-fly during query rather than saved at time of tagging. File queries can now be limited to a particular path. The ability to turn off automatic tag creation (per database) was added. Tabulated output is provided for 'tags' and 'values' commands. Text operators were added to avoid the need for shell escaping. Zsh completion was improved with respect to tag values. Significant performance improvements were achieved.

Release Notes: The main changes in this are a DB data integrity report, a change of DB text field collation to Unicode, a new tag assignment UI, display of point-to-point IP neighbors, rack power consumption auto-calculation, fixes for some security issues, and bugfixes. This release concludes the active phase of 0.20.x development. After that, 0.20.x releases will contain only bugfixes, letting the developers to focus on the preparation of the 0.21 release.

dd_rescue copies data from one file or block device to another. It is intended for error recovery, so by default, it doesn't abort on errors and doesn't truncate the output file. It uses large block sizes to quicken the copying, but falls back to small blocks upon encountering errors. It produces reports that allow you to keep track of bad blocks. dd_rescue features a number of optimizations, such as sparse block detection, preallocation, and Linux zerocopy (splice). It supports data protection by (multi-pass) overwriting of files or partitions with good and fast random numbers.

Multi-OTP is an OATH-certified PHP class, a Web interface, and a powerful command line tool that can be used to authenticate and manage OTP user tokens for strong two-factor authentication. It can create, update, and delete tokens to authenticate users with one time passwords (OTP). The users' data are stored in files. The class can also check the user token using several algorithms: Mobile OTP (MOTP), OATH/HOTP (RFC 4226), and OATH/TOTP HOTP Time Based (RFC 4226 extension). It works with compatible software tokens (iPhone, Android, PalmOS, Nokia, and other Java J2ME capable phones) and hardware tokens (such as Feitian, ZyXEL, Authenex, or Seamoon). The multiotp command line can be combined with FreeRADIUS (under Linux) or the free TekRADIUS LT (under Windows) in order to have a powerful radius strong authentication server.

LibDsk is a library that attempts to create uniform functions for accessing floppy drives, raw "dd" disk images, and disk image files in various emulator formats. There is special-case code for direct access to the floppy controller under Linux, and to access the floppy driver under Windows. Java (JNI) bindings are included.
