Download Website 04 Mar 23:47 GNU xorriso 1.3.6

Screenshot

GNU xorriso creates, loads, manipulates, and writes ISO 9660 filesystem images with Rock Ridge extensions. Files can be copied in and out. The session results get written to optical media or to filesystem objects. Rather than needing external tools for ISO 9660 production and CD/DVD/BD burning, it is a static compilation of libburnia-project.org. Thus GNU xorriso depends only on fundamental operating system facilities.

Release Notes: xorriso has learned to operate optical drives and media on NetBSD. A few rarely-occurring bugs have been fixed. It is now possible to find files with names which cannot be represented unchanged in ECMA-119, Joliet, or HFS+.

Release Notes: This release introduces 'boost' and 'track' commands to extract, respectively, defined requirements identifiers and referenced ones.

No download No website 04 Mar 23:40 AntiJOP 0.4

Screenshot

AntiJOP is an anti-malware solution that recodes assembly language to remove JOP attack gadgets. JOP attacks on x86 often hinge on the availability of 0xFF bytes in preexisting code, which can be co-opted to serve as register-indirect call instructions. AntiJOP removes instances of 0xFF bytes that may exist, for example, in immediate values, MOD/RM bytes, etc.

Release Notes: Still in alpha, 0.4 implements a fair amount of gadget removal.

Download Website 04 Mar 23:40 python-bitstring 3.1.3

Screenshot

bitstring is a Python module that helps to make the creation and analysis of binary data as simple and natural as possible. Objects can be constructed from integers (big and little endian), floats, hex, octal, binary, byte data, iterables, or files. They can be sliced, joined, reversed, packed, unpacked, inserted into, overwritten, and otherwise operated upon with simple functions or slice notation.
