It can collect logs from files in various formats, receive logs from the network remotely over UDP, TCP, or TLS/SSL on all supported platforms. It supports platform-specific sources such as the Windows Eventlog, Linux kernel logs, Android device logs, local syslog, etc. Writing and reading logs to/from databases is also supported for many database servers. The collected logs can be stored into files, databases, or forwarded to a remote log server using various protocols. The old BSD Syslog and the newer IETF syslog standard (RFC 3164 and RFC 5424-5426) are fully supported by nxlog in addition to XML, JSON, CSV, GELF, and other custom formats. A key concept in nxlog is to be able to handle and preserve structured logs so there is no need to convert everything to syslog and then parse these logs again at the other side. It has powerful message filtering, log rewrite, and conversion capabilities. Using a lightweight, modular, and multi-threaded architecture which can scale, nxlog can process hundreds of thousands of events per second.

No download Website 04 Feb 11:35 PHP Email address validation component 201...

Screenshot

This is a PHP class that attempts to validate a given e-mail address at four levels: matching the address against a RFC compliant regular expression; checking whitelists and blacklists of domains with typing mistakes, disposable email addresses, and temporary and fake domains; verifying the existence of the destination SMTP server by verifying the respective DNS MX record; and connecting to that server to see if the given address is accepted as a valid recipient. The class also features a debugging output option that lets you see the remote SMTP server connection and data exchange dialog to see the real cause why an apparently valid address may not be accepting messages.

Download Website 04 Feb 11:27 MoSSHe 14.2.3

Screenshot

MoSShE (MOnitoring in Simple SHell Environment) is a simple, lightweight (both in size and system requirements) server monitoring package designed for secure and in-depth monitoring of a handful of typical/critical Internet systems. It supports email alerts and SLA monitoring out of the box, and whatever you can script. The system is programmed in plain (Bourne) SH, and made to be compatible with BASH and Busybox so it can easily be deployed on embedded systems. Monitoring is designed to be distributed over multiple systems, usually running locally. As no parameters are accepted from the outside, checks cannot be tampered or misused from outside. The system is designed to allow decentralized checks and evaluation as well as classical agent-based checks with centralized data accumulation. Agent data is transferred via HTTP, so available Web servers can be co-used for agent data transfer. Each agent creates simple (static) HTML pages with full and condensed status reports on each system, allowing simple local checks.

Release Notes: This release added a monthly NetworkBandwidth check with GB/month. HDCheckGB was added. It is like HDCheck but in GB. HDparmState was added to check whether a disc is spun down. ImportServerInfo and a FileLines check were added. Server info placement was corrected. A new functions.virtual module was added, and VServer-checks were moved into that module. Virtuzzo/OpenVZ VZbeancounter checks were added.
